Cable Color Strengthens Digital Connectivity With Third Consecutive Ookla Award
Cable Color has been recognized by Ookla as Guatemala's fastest fixed network for the third consecutive year, based on Speedtest data collected during the first half of 2026.
Cable Color has once again been recognized by Ookla as the provider of Guatemala's fastest fixed network. Based on Speedtest data collected between January and June 2026, the award marks the third consecutive year the company has received this distinction for its network performance.
Ookla recognizes Cable Color's network performance
The recognition was awarded using data gathered through Speedtest, one of the world's most widely used internet performance testing platforms.
According to the evaluation, Cable Color achieved the highest performance across key technical indicators, including download speed, upload speed, and overall network consistency. These metrics formed the basis for Ookla's assessment of fixed broadband providers in Guatemala.

Infrastructure investments support network growth
Cable Color attributes the recognition to its continued investment in technological infrastructure and efforts to expand its connectivity capabilities to meet the evolving needs of households, businesses, and institutions throughout Guatemala.
The company noted that the increasing adoption of digital tools has significantly raised demand for faster and more reliable internet services. In response, it has continued modernizing its network to support remote work, online education, digital entertainment, and business operations.
Regional performance reinforces Cable Color's strategy
The award received in Guatemala also reflects broader results across the Cable Color group.
During the 2026 Ookla Speedtest Awards, the company's operations in El Salvador and Costa Rica received the recognition for the fourth consecutive year, while Guatemala and Honduras each earned the distinction for the third straight year.
According to the company, these results demonstrate its regional strategy focused on strengthening digital infrastructure while maintaining performance levels that meet international standards across Central America.

High-quality connectivity supports digital development
Cable Color emphasized that the recognition represents more than market leadership. The company believes that reliable digital infrastructure plays a key role in supporting education, business growth, productivity, and innovation, all of which increasingly depend on fast and stable internet connectivity.
The Ookla recognition also reinforces Cable Color's commitment to continue advancing digital transformation efforts and expanding access to high-quality internet services for users across Guatemala as demand for reliable connectivity continues to grow.
