Banco Industrial CEO Luis Lara Grojec Honored as Manager of the Year 2026 in Guatemala
In recognition of corporate leadership and financial stewardship, the Guatemalan Managers Association, or AGG, has named Luis Rolando Lara Grojec, General Manager and Corporate Director of Banco Industrial, as "Manager of the Year 2026".
The announcement was made during the 20th anniversary edition of the AGG awards ceremony in Guatemala City. The annual program highlights executives who have demonstrated leadership, strategic vision, and impact within their respective organizations.

Lara Grojec boasts a professional trajectory spanning over 32 years within the financial sector. Reflecting on his career philosophy during the acceptance of the award, Lara Grojec emphasized the fundamental duty of institutional leadership:
"A good banker must stand with their clients in good times, regular times, and bad times".

Lara Grojec's relationship with the AGG is well-established. Having previously served as president of the association, he was also a recipient of the “Manager of the year” accolade in 2014. This latest recognition highlights a career spanning decades of corporate governance within the institution.
