XV Foro Mujer Emprendedora 2026 to Bring Together Women Entrepreneurs in Guatemala

The Foro Mujer Emprendedora returned in 2026 as a virtual gathering designed for women entrepreneurs and businesswomen in Guatemala to share experiences, gain new knowledge and strengthen the skills they need to move forward with their personal, professional and business projects.

A virtual space for women entrepreneurs

The XV Foro Mujer Emprendedora 2026, organized by the Instituto Técnico de Capacitación y Productividad (Intecap), took place virtually on Thursday, August 27, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The event was created to provide tools and knowledge that can help participants advance their projects and businesses.

Whether you already have a business, are starting an entrepreneurial venture or have an idea you want to grow, the forum was designed as a space to connect with different experiences and perspectives.

Women inspiring through different paths

Across Guatemala, more women are transforming their ideas, knowledge and talents into ventures that generate income, opportunities and development for their families and communities.

Entrepreneurship involves taking on challenges, continuously learning and finding new ways to turn an idea into an opportunity. In this context, creating spaces for women entrepreneurs also means recognizing their efforts, highlighting their stories and acknowledging the role they play in the country's economy and development.

The XV Foro Mujer Emprendedora brought together Guatemalan businesswomen and leaders who will share experiences and perspectives from different fields.

The women and leaders participating in the forum

Among the speakers participating in the event are:

  • Carmen María Torrebiarte Benford, businesswoman and business leader. She was the first woman to serve as President of CACIF and is currently a member of Intecap's Board of Directors.
  • Vivian Marroquín, associated with Fundación Fichulais, who shared her perspective on the purpose and impact women can create across different areas.
  • Jessica Victoria Cordero Molina, CEO of Grupo M.E.M.E., who addressed topics related to leadership, innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
  • María del Carmen Salguero, from Antojitos Doña Mela, who shared the story of a Guatemalan family business that has preserved a gastronomic tradition while incorporating management and innovation.
  • Dayana Aceituno, who presented the conference “Emprende con propósito, expande con dirección.”
  • Kristy Motta, who presented the conference “Emprender para trascender: Construyendo un legado indestructible.”

A meeting point for Guatemalan women

The XV Foro Mujer Emprendedora offers women from anywhere in Guatemala the opportunity to connect virtually, listen to women with experiences different from their own, discover new ideas and explore perspectives that can help them define their next step.

Through the stories, knowledge and experiences shared during the forum, Intecap seeks to create a space where women entrepreneurs and businesswomen can strengthen their capabilities while finding inspiration to continue developing their projects.
