San Martín Expands in Texas With New Location in Plano

San Martín continues to strengthen its presence in the United States with the opening of its new location in Plano, Texas, bringing together its restaurant, bakery, pastry, café and market concepts in one space.

The opening marks the brand’s third location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and another step in its international expansion, which began in Guatemala and later reached El Salvador and the United States.

A new space designed for the Plano community

With the goal of getting closer to families throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area, San Martín has created a 758-square-meter space in Plano designed to offer visitors a warm and welcoming experience.

The new location combines the brand’s signature artisanal approach with an elegant and inviting design. From the bakery display featuring freshly baked bread to the restaurant and café areas, the space was created to accompany different moments throughout the day.

The location has a capacity for 192 people, offering a comfortable and versatile environment for visitors.

A design inspired by Guatemalan heritage

Architecture is one of the defining elements of the new San Martín location in Plano. The space reinterprets the brand’s characteristic experience through a design that combines Guatemalan heritage with a refined and immersive atmosphere.

Artisanal materials, wood, handmade tiles, rattan elements and vegetation are incorporated throughout the space, creating a warm environment for visitors.

The architectural concept also reflects the artisanal philosophy that has become part of San Martín’s identity and is reflected in its products, which are made from scratch using original recipes.

Bakery, pastry, restaurant and coffee under one roof

The new Plano location brings together the different elements that have distinguished San Martín over the years.

Its offering includes its Euro-Latin bakery, made using sourdough and original recipes, as well as a selection of pastries and a varied restaurant menu. Visitors can also find beverages prepared with coffee roasted at the brand’s own roastery.

Through this combination, the new location brings San Martín’s culinary offering to the Plano community while maintaining the artisanal character that defines the brand.

The opening also represents a contribution to the local economy, with the creation of approximately 100 direct jobs in the community.

San Martín expands its presence across the Dallas-Fort Worth area

The opening in Plano is part of San Martín’s broader expansion strategy and reinforces the brand’s commitment to reaching more families in North Texas.

The new location joins the brand’s existing stores in Uptown Dallas and Addison, making Plano its third location in the Metroplex.

This new chapter adds to a history that began in 1974, when San Martín started as a small bakery in Guatemala City.

The new store is located at 5500 Preston Rd., Plano, TX. It will be open Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

With this opening, San Martín invites the Plano community to discover its latest location, enjoy its signature flavors and experience a space where gastronomy, design and artisanal warmth come together.
