Las Margaritas Business District: Redefining Corporate Spaces in Guatemala
Las Margaritas Business District redefines corporate spaces in Guatemala with integrated services, smart technology, and a focus on user experience.
Las Margaritas Business District marks a new phase in the evolution of corporate environments in Guatemala, redefining how businesses operate within integrated, service-driven spaces.
Formerly known as Centro Gerencial Las Margaritas, the project now reflects a broader vision that combines technology, efficiency, and user experience in a single ecosystem.
From corporate center to integrated business district
The transformation from Centro Gerencial Las Margaritas into Las Margaritas Business District represents more than a rebranding effort. It signals a strategic shift toward a model that aligns with modern corporate demands—where services, infrastructure, and community coexist within the same environment.
Located in one of the city’s most dynamic areas, the district is designed to function as a comprehensive business hub. Its objective is to streamline daily operations for companies and professionals while enhancing the overall workplace experience.

According to Ana Isabel Arévalo, project manager, the name change is a natural outcome of this transition. She emphasizes that the evolution goes beyond visual identity, incorporating new services and redefining how both tenants and visitors interact with the space.
“The evolution of Las Margaritas responds to a clear vision: to turn the workplace into an environment where efficiency, community, and experience converge,” said Ana Isabel Arévalo.
The updated identity also includes a refreshed visual concept, featuring a color palette inspired by natural elements, reinforcing its positioning as a modern and functional corporate environment.
Technology and efficiency at the core
One of the most notable upgrades within Las Margaritas Business District is the implementation of an intelligent access system. This system allows entry through card, fingerprint, or QR code, improving both security and the flow of people throughout the district.
This approach reflects a growing need for smarter, more efficient control systems in corporate environments, where seamless access and safety are critical.

Services designed to simplify daily operations
A key pillar of the project is the integration of services that reduce friction in everyday routines. The Convenia Plaza, located in the lobby of Tower II, centralizes essential services, allowing users to complete daily tasks without leaving the premises.
Additionally, the Financial Plaza on the second level of the same tower offers access to strategic banking services, further supporting businesses that require quick and efficient financial operations.
Workplace experience and employee wellbeing

The project also introduces a Lunch Hub concept, a dedicated space designed to enhance employees’ break and dining experiences. This initiative aligns with global workplace trends that prioritize employee wellbeing as a driver of productivity.
By incorporating spaces that support both work and rest, Las Margaritas Business District aims to create a more balanced and human-centered corporate environment.
Integrating culture into the corporate environment
Beyond infrastructure and services, the district integrates cultural experiences into its design. It features an event space with a museum-style pre-function area, where Guatemalan artists periodically exhibit their work.
This initiative seeks to enrich the daily experience of visitors and tenants, bridging the gap between corporate life and cultural expression.

Looking ahead: growth and positioning
The project’s management anticipates an increase in visitor traffic and greater adoption by companies seeking to centralize their operations in multifunctional spaces.
Arévalo highlights that the goal is to provide an environment where organizations can work, meet, and generate value—all within a single location.
With this transformation, Las Margaritas Business District positions itself as a reference point in the evolution of corporate spaces in Guatemala, aligning with global trends that emphasize integrated services, advanced technology, and user-centric design.
