Harvard Law School Executive Education Promotes Women’s Legal Leadership in LatAm
Harvard Law School Executive Education and Women in a Legal World launch the Legal Leadership Development Program in Latin America.
Harvard Law School Executive Education and Women in a Legal World are bringing the Legal Leadership Development Program to Latin America for the first time, creating an academic and professional opportunity focused on strengthening the leadership development of women in the legal sector.
Through Women in a Legal World Guatemala, its Officer Marisol Fión is sharing the opportunity with women lawyers across the region who are looking to strengthen their leadership capabilities, broaden their professional perspectives, and join an international network of women leaders in the legal profession.
A New Opportunity for Women Leaders in the Legal Sector
The first Latin American edition of the Legal Leadership Development Program is designed for women lawyers interested in taking their professional development and leadership skills further.
The program offers participants the opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen their leadership, while becoming part of an international community committed to promoting greater participation and leadership of women within the legal profession.
For women lawyers with established professional careers, the initiative represents an opportunity to expand their perspectives and continue building the skills needed to advance their leadership.
Marisol Fión Shares Her Experience as an Alumna

The invitation has a particular significance for Marisol Fión, who is an alumna of the program and has experienced firsthand the impact the initiative can have on both professional and personal development.
Based on her own experience, Fión is encouraging women lawyers with professional experience to consider the opportunity and apply for the program’s first edition in Latin America.
Her participation also highlights the importance of creating spaces where women in the legal profession can continue developing their leadership and connecting with peers beyond their immediate professional environments.
Carolina Silva Joins the Invitation
The initiative is also being supported by Carolina Silva, a prominent lawyer from the region and another alumna of the program.
Silva shares her experience and encourages more women leaders in the legal sector to take this step toward strengthening their professional development.
The participation of both alumnae underscores the value of the experience for women who are seeking to continue growing professionally while connecting with an international community of legal professionals.

Building an International Network of Women Leaders
Beyond leadership development, the Legal Leadership Development Program offers an opportunity to become part of an international network of women who are contributing to the evolution of the legal profession.
For women lawyers looking to take their leadership to the next level, this first Latin American edition represents an opportunity to learn, connect, and become part of an international experience focused on strengthening women's leadership in the legal sector.
