Compass Bac Expands Automatic Payments to Rocket Car Wash in Guatemala

Compass Bac is entering a new stage in Guatemala as the technology expands beyond automatic payments for parking and tolls. Since July 27, customers have been able to use Compass to pay automatically at all Rocket Car Wash locations in the country, making the car wash chain the first commercial business in Guatemala to accept payments through the platform.

The integration expands the number of everyday services that drivers can pay for without relying on cash, physical cards or mobile applications at the point of transaction.

Compass Expands Beyond Parking and Tolls

Developed by Bac, Compass operates through a device installed on a vehicle's windshield. The device is connected to a credit or debit card issued by Bac or any other bank in Guatemala, allowing payments to be processed automatically.

The solution currently has more than 250,000 users and is available at more than 125 locations, including parking facilities and tolls.

With the addition of Rocket Car Wash, Bac is expanding the platform's use into another everyday service for drivers.

Rocket Car Wash Becomes the First Commercial Partner

The new integration makes Rocket Car Wash the first commercial business in Guatemala to accept Compass payments.

Drivers visiting Rocket Car Wash locations in Zone 10, Próceres, Roosevelt and Carretera a El Salvador can now pay for their car wash automatically through the Compass system.

According to Bac, the integration is designed to make the payment experience faster, more convenient and safer for customers.

The expansion also gives the more than 250,000 existing Compass users another way to use the payment technology as part of their daily routines.

Customers interested in acquiring Compass can do so through several Bac channels.

The device is available at Bac branches, through authorized distributors located in shopping centers, via Bac Online Banking, or through the bank's website.

With the Rocket Car Wash integration, Compass adds a new category of service to its existing network of parking and toll payment locations, broadening its role as an automatic payment solution for drivers in Guatemala.
