CentraRSE Launches New Platform to Recognize Sustainable Impact in Guatemala
CentraRSE launches Sustentia Magna Impact to recognize social, environmental, and governance initiatives contributing to sustainable development in Guatemala and the region.
CentraRSE has launched the Sustentia Magna Impact Awards, a new platform designed to identify and give visibility to projects developed by companies, organizations, foundations, and institutions contributing to sustainable development in Guatemala and the region.
The initiative will recognize proposals that integrate social, environmental, and governance actions through management models designed to generate impact across different sectors.
“Sustentia Magna Impact was created to recognize those who are already leading this transformation,” said Connie de Paiz, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of CentraRSE.
Three Categories for Sustainable Impact
Organizations will be able to submit projects across three categories, each focused on a different area of sustainable development.
Social Impact and Human Development
This category is aimed at initiatives addressing human mobility, inclusion, and social investment.
Environmental Impact and Sustainable Innovation
Projects focused on water management, circular economy, and climate action will be eligible for this category.
Purpose-Driven Companies and Responsible Governance
This category will recognize initiatives related to ethics, transparency, leadership, and anti-bribery practices.
Applications Open Until October 4
Organizations can submit their projects from August 6 through October 4, 2026.
The selected initiatives will be recognized during the Sustentia Magna Impact gala, scheduled to take place in November.
Each proposal will be evaluated by an independent jury based on criteria including impact, innovation, sustainability, value creation, and the potential to be replicated in other contexts.
How to Apply
The application guidelines, requirements, and registration form are already available through the official Sustentia Magna Impact website.
The registration fee is US$120 per project for CentraRSE members and US$150 for non-member organizations.
Beyond the recognition process itself, the platform will include a website, digital channels, an editorial publication, and an awards gala designed to showcase the selected projects.
Promoting Sustainable Business Practices
According to Juan Pablo Morataya, Executive Director of CentraRSE, the initiative seeks not only to recognize projects but also to promote the exchange of practices and strengthen the role of sustainability in business value creation.
“With Sustentia Magna Impact, we want to make visible those initiatives that are generating change, promote the exchange of good practices, and strengthen a business culture in which sustainability becomes part of value creation.”
Independent Evaluation and Operational Support
The production of the process will be led by Siete Zero, which will be responsible for operational support and traceability mechanisms.
The evaluation and selection of projects will remain in the hands of an independent jury, which will issue its decisions according to the criteria established for the call.
Through Sustentia Magna Impact, CentraRSE aims to give greater visibility to initiatives addressing social, environmental, and governance challenges while creating a platform for recognizing sustainable projects in Guatemala and the region.
