Banrural Joins Teletón Guatemala 2026 to Expand Access to Donations Nationwide
Banrural returns as the official bank of Teletón Guatemala 2026, enabling nationwide donations to support Fundabiem's rehabilitation services.
Banrural has announced its participation as the official banking partner of Teletón Guatemala 2026 for the 14th consecutive year, reaffirming its support for one of the country's largest fundraising initiatives dedicated to rehabilitation and inclusion for people with disabilities. This year's campaign marks the 40th edition of Teletón Guatemala and aims to raise funds to strengthen the rehabilitation services provided by Fundabiem.
Held under the theme "Because love is not measured in years. It is measured by what we accomplish together," the event will take place on July 17 and 18 at the Las Cumbres Convention Center, located at kilometer 17.5 on the road to San José Pinula.
Supporting rehabilitation services across Guatemala

Since its creation in 1989, Fundabiem has delivered more than 11.8 million comprehensive rehabilitation services, benefiting over 996,860 Guatemalans, including their families.
The organization currently employs 199 staff members nationwide, with 81% of its services provided outside Guatemala City, extending rehabilitation support to communities throughout the country.
The funds raised during Teletón Guatemala 2026 will help strengthen these rehabilitation programs and continue expanding access to specialized care.
Banrural enables donations through its nationwide network
As the official bank of the campaign, Banrural will facilitate donations through multiple banking channels, including the Banrural App, Banrural Virtual, and its nationwide network of more than 13,400 service points, which includes bank branches, Banrural service counters, ATMs, and 5B ATMs.
Donations can be made using account number 9999, option 1, allowing supporters across Guatemala to contribute regardless of their location.
According to Carlos Granados, Marketing Manager at Banrural, the institution views its participation as more than a sponsorship.
"At Banrural, we believe in the solidarity of the Guatemalan people, and this year we reaffirm that commitment once again. We are not simply another sponsor—we are a partner. By joining Teletón, we continue transforming lives and bringing rehabilitation and inclusion opportunities to thousands of families," Granados said.

Expanding access to support nationwide
Banrural emphasized that its extensive national presence plays a key role in making the fundraising campaign accessible throughout the country.
Jorge Mario Ruiz, Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking at Banrural, highlighted the importance of the institution's physical network in connecting donors with Fundabiem.
"Our network of branches, Banrural service centers, and ATMs reaches every corner of the country. That proximity allows the solidarity of Guatemalans to reach Fundabiem, regardless of where they are located," Ruiz said.
