Bam Introduces Host-to-Host Platform for Real-Time Business Banking Integration
Bam has introduced Host-to-Host, a new solution that enables businesses to automate payments, reconciliations, and financial operations through direct integration with the bank.
Host-to-Host is Bam's latest digital banking solution designed to help businesses automate financial processes through direct integration with the bank. The platform enables companies to streamline payments, account inquiries, and reconciliations while reducing manual work and improving operational efficiency.
Direct integration for high-volume businesses
Bam introduced Host-to-Host as a solution tailored for organizations with high transaction volumes, growing companies, and businesses seeking to optimize administrative processes without increasing operational complexity.
The platform connects a company's internal systems directly with the bank, allowing financial information to flow automatically and in real time. By integrating banking services into day-to-day operations, businesses can reduce manual tasks and focus on strategic growth initiatives.

Through the solution, companies can process domestic and international transfers, payroll payments, tax and service payments, as well as access account statements and transaction information directly from their own systems.
Michael Saborío, Vice President of Business and Capital Banking at Bam, said the initiative reflects the bank's commitment to supporting its corporate clients.
"At Bam, we work to be a strategic partner in our clients' growth. With this solution, we bring banking directly into their daily operations, simplifying and eliminating manual processes while providing a channel that offers automatic real-time reconciliation and automated payment batch processing to improve treasury efficiency," he said.
Security and scalability through API integration
According to Bam, Host-to-Host has been developed with robust security standards, including end-to-end encryption and advanced authentication mechanisms designed to protect corporate financial information.
The solution operates through APIs, enabling businesses to integrate banking services into their existing technology infrastructure while maintaining flexibility as they grow.
Martin Prentice, Corporate and Structured Banking Manager at Bam, highlighted the role of APIs in modern financial services.
"This solution is delivered through APIs that represent an evolution in the way companies interact with the financial system. They enable more agile, scalable, and efficient integrations, adapting to each company's growth while supporting continuous real-time operations," he said.

Bam provides implementation support for clients
In addition to the technology itself, Bam will accompany clients throughout the implementation process by providing specialized guidance and ongoing support to ensure the solution aligns with each organization's operational requirements.
With the launch of Host-to-Host, the bank aims to strengthen its value proposition for businesses seeking greater operational agility, lower administrative costs, and improved financial control.
The initiative also reinforces Bam's commitment to supporting the competitiveness and sustainable growth of Guatemala's business sector through digital innovation.
