International Speakers Bring Experience in Technology and Entrepreneurship
Disrupt Summit 2026 features four international guests whose backgrounds connect technology, investment, entrepreneurship, and corporate innovation. Uri Levine, co-founder of Waze, is among the featured speakers. The Israeli entrepreneur is also an investor and is known for helping develop a navigation platform used by millions of people. His experience offers a perspective on building technology products around everyday needs and expanding them to reach large audiences.
The program also includes Oke Okaro, an executive whose experience includes Disney, Bloomberg, ESPN, and Reuters, with work related to mobile innovation, digital products, and technological transformation. Chilean entrepreneur Gabriel Gurovich will discuss digital transformation, startup development, and business innovation, while Colombian businesswoman and investor Julita Barreto brings experience supporting entrepreneurship and business growth in Latin America. Barreto has appeared as a judge on Shark Tank Colombia. Together, the speakers represent ways technology and entrepreneurship can influence business strategy, product development, and investment decisions.

Thirty-Three Startups Take Part in the Summit
A central component of the event is its platform for 33 selected startups, intended to connect emerging companies with investors, business leaders, and other participants in the regional ecosystem. The initiative gives founders an opportunity to present their projects, increase visibility, and build relationships that may support future commercial or investment discussions. These networks can help startups understand market needs, identify potential partners, and evaluate opportunities to expand their customer base.
The participation of startups alongside established companies also gives businesses a closer look at new products and services being developed in the region. The summit brings entrepreneurs and corporate representatives together to discuss practical challenges and possible solutions. These connections may be relevant for companies exploring digital services, new business models, or partnerships with younger ventures, although any investment or commercial agreements will depend on the participants’ discussions and decisions.

Business Agenda Focuses on Digital Transformation
The two-day program includes keynote presentations, executive panels, mentoring sessions, and a business exposition. Companies identified among the participating corporate groups include Central America Bottling Corporation, known as Grupo Mariposa, Banco Industrial, Banco MultiMoney, and Grupo AG. Their presence brings established businesses into conversations with founders and investors. The agenda addresses business growth, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and financial technology, subjects increasingly connected to the operations of companies across different industries.
For Guatemala, hosting this gathering creates a setting for local entrepreneurs and business leaders to connect with international speakers and regional participants. It provides space to consider how technology can be applied in customer services, financial operations, production, and supply chains. The event’s potential value lies in the exchange of experience and relationships participants may develop, rather than assuming immediate economic outcomes. As companies assess new tools and partnerships, discussions can contribute to understanding digital adoption. These conversations may inform future business decisions across Guatemala.
Disrupt Summit 2026 takes place at AVIA in Zone 10, with activities scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The two-day format combines presentations with networking and business conversations, bringing together an estimated 2,000 attendees from the business and technology communities. The summit offers Guatemala’s local entrepreneurial ecosystem an opportunity to strengthen connections and engage with ideas shaping the region’s technology landscape.
