Guatemala’s industrial future led by new Board at Cámara de Industria

The Cámara de Industria de Guatemala held its Annual General Assembly of Members, a key event that marked the beginning of a new chapter with the official introduction of its Board of Directors for the 2025–2027 term.

During the assembly, Raúl Bouscayrol concluded his term as President of the Chamber, officially passing the torch to Carlos Enrique Font, formerly Vice President. The outgoing administration stood out for positioning industrialization as a pillar of economic growth, prioritizing investments in infrastructure to boost competitiveness and attract both domestic and foreign investment.

Now under the leadership of Carlos Enrique Font, the newly appointed Board will advance a strategic vision built around five action pillars, aimed at strengthening member services and fostering national development:

  • Guild Strengthening and Member Engagement
  • Competitiveness and Business Environment
  • Internationalization
  • Digital Transformation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship
  • Sustainable Business Development

Guatemala needs more industry to create jobs, opportunities, and prosperity. Achieving that requires clear policies, fair rules, and favorable conditions for investment and production,” said Font. He added that collaboration with public sector efforts in security, justice, and infrastructure will be essential in building a conducive climate for economic development.

The event concluded with the formal swearing-in of the members of the new Board of Directors of the Cámara de Industria de Guatemala, comprised of high-profile leaders with notable experience:
