The Festival de las Flores 2025 will transform Antigua Guatemala into a vibrant meeting point for art, nature, and community on November 15 and 16.
This edition celebrates the theme “Cuando florecen las estrellas” (When the Stars Bloom), inviting participants to experience the intersection of creativity, emotions, and the natural world.
Celebrating art and inspiration
This year’s festival draws inspiration from iconic figures who shaped the world of art, including Cruz España, Luis de Lión, Carlos Mérida, Roberto González Goyri, Frida Kahlo, Botero, and Van Gogh.

The event highlights Antigua as “the place where stars bloom” and “City of the Arts”, connecting attendees with artistic expressions that reflect both historical influence and contemporary creativity.
A celebration of inner light and nature
In 2025, the festival focuses on the concept of inner flourishing, celebrating the light that resides in each person and the magic of the sky mirrored on earth. Attendees will be immersed in an experience that combines natural beauty, artistic displays, and emotional engagement, creating a unique platform to appreciate both culture and community.
The Comisión de Flores, Plantas y Ornamentales of the Asociación Guatemalteca de Exportadores (Agexport) will provide flowers to participants, enriching the festival’s visual impact and fostering a closer connection with Guatemala’s rich botanical heritage.
