AI Summit Latam 2025: Guatemala Becomes Regional AI Hub with Universidad Galileo's International Congress

Universidad Galileo kicks off AI Summit Latam 2025, the international congress bringing together experts, companies, and innovation leaders to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on business and societal transformation in Latin America.

The event is taking place at the Westin Camino Real Hotel, today November 18 and tomorrow November 19, 2025, establishing itself as the region's most important AI gathering. Its purpose is to showcase how this technology drives productivity, flexibility, and value in key sectors such as business, marketing, healthcare, education, human resources, and legaltech.

"AI has stopped being a promise and become a real driver of competitiveness. This congress seeks to demonstrate its practical application and capacity to generate tangible impact," stated Dr. Miguel Morales, Director of the Digital Education Area and the Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (GESAI-LAB) at Universidad Galileo.

AI Summit Latam 2025 features international speakers from institutions including MIT, Harvard, Microsoft, Dapta, micro1, and CENIA, plus hands-on workshops on developing AI agents, educational chatbots, marketing automation, and intelligent data analysis.

During the event, a press conference and official media accreditation were held, inviting them to be part of this space that drives innovation and technological advancement in Latin America.

"AI Summit Latam 2025 is more than an event; it's a meeting point to build community and strengthen the AI ecosystem in the region," noted Dr. Rocael Hernández Rizzardini, Director of the GES Department and event organizer.
